Certain ants in different parts of the world completely wipe out anything in the way of their march. The ants don't let anything get in their way. Even in bodies of water, they all connect to each other with their limbs (like holding hands) and float across like a lily pad. It's pretty crazy stuff.
I feel that seeing a line of Durant creeping by, readying their march. I admire animators for taking so much time to create one simple project that is a true work of art. Nice work.
Is the ant (legs, mouth, antennae) animated in one movieclip? then you have instances of that MC tweened from the top to the bottom of the stage? If that's the case (and the movement isn't done using actionscript), play around with the duration of the tween, like add just a few more frames to it, that way you'll have the ants' legs moving more times during the walk from top to bottom and it might make the walk look slightly more real and have less of a gliding/sliding effect.. I learned with Flash that the more you play around and experiment, you can figure out some pretty cool stuff
